These terms are an agreement between you and Synthetic Echo Inc. for the BYOA course site and the BYOA course. If you do not agree, do not create an account or buy the course.
The service
BYOA is a live course from Synthetic Echo Inc. that teaches you to build your own AI assistant. This site lets you learn about the course, sign up for free sessions, buy the course, and access course material once enrolled.
Accounts
You can sign in with Google or with an email address. You must give a real email address and keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may refuse or close an account that breaks these terms, that we cannot verify, or that puts other people at risk.
Payments
The price is shown before you pay. Checkout shows the currency for your location. Stripe charges the payment method you provide. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it, or where a course page says otherwise.
Partners and referrals
Some visitors arrive through a partner or affiliate link. Partners may earn a commission on purchases they refer. A referral does not change the price you pay unless a page or discount code says so.
Reviews and content you submit
You keep ownership of reviews and other content you submit. You give Synthetic Echo Inc. permission to store it and to display it on this site and in our marketing. Do not submit anything that is illegal, abusive, misleading, or that infringes someone else’s rights. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
Course material
Course material is for your own use. Do not resell or republish it without our written permission. The assistant you build in the course is yours.
Disclaimers
The site and course are provided as available. Course content is education, not professional, legal, or financial advice. Results from AI tools vary. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
